No Class Creations Music Video.

A music video directed by No Class Creations for their client Thousand Thoughts had adventurous ideas on a tight schedule.
Their ideas included the singer performing on a stage filled with candlelight and helium balloons, a dancer performing in a circle of helium balloons, and the dancer performing on a bed of flour.

My role was to be able to execute the set ideas on filming day, and organise all materials and equipment needed to do this efficiently and effectively so the director can focus on filming.
I worked independently from the crew to curate, arrange and dress the sets.
I arranged the candles in a way that was health and safety conscious, and that looked good on camera. I filled balloons with helium, tied them off with ribbon, and taped them to the floor in a way that is pleasing to the eye on camera for the first and second setup.
For the ‘dancer in the flour,’ I had to be mindful of the mess it would create, so I used a plastic sheet to cover the floor. For the concept of the video, I had to distribute the flour, so it was pristine like untouched snow- for this, I brought a sieve with me.
I also had to arrange the clear-up, so I bought plastic bags, brooms and dustpan, and brush so the clear-up could be as quick and effective as possible to get out of the hired location on time and leave as we found it.
As a team, we were able to film and capture all the ideas proposed within the time frame. The footage that was captured looked unique and of a high production scale. By hiring me for the day I took a workload from the director and therefore the whole day went more efficiently and smoothly.
